BECOME A MEMBER

Our General Members include organizations directly providing nutritional services, while our Associate Members consist of organizations that support the mission of Meals on Wheels without directly delivering meals.

Working together makes a difference.

BENEFITS OF JOINING

Membership provides organizations with access to a statewide network of support, resources, and advocacy that strengthens programs serving older adults.

  • While membership in Meals on Wheels America provides numerous national benefits, having an Association offers the advantage of regular dialogue with state-level service providers. New York's specific regulations and guidance impact our work, and the Association fosters collective and collaborative efforts to address these challenges. Together, we strengthen our services and enhance accessibility for communities throughout New York State.

  • The Association is currently working on ways to empower agencies by bulk purchases, shared services, and other programming elements to save time and money for agencies in New York State. We are considering localized training and convenings to assist with communication about important and related information to help us all serve more humans.

  • You can play a pivotal role in driving solutions for cost and time savings, help coordinate training programs tailored to the specific needs of New York State, and contribute to building a robust network of senior-serving professionals who can connect and collaborate well beyond the MOWA conference and programming.
